1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Convert File Fast (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Description of Service

Convert File Fast provides a REST API for converting documents to PDF format. The Service accepts files in formats such as XLSX, DOCX, DOC, PPTX, TXT, RTF, ODT and ZIP (batch), processes them in memory, and returns the resulting PDF directly in the API response.

Files submitted for conversion are never stored on our servers. All temporary data is discarded immediately after the API request completes. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

• Converting, distributing, or processing files containing illegal content, malware, or content that violates intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, bypass, or circumvent any security measure, rate limit, or authentication mechanism of the Service.
• Sharing, selling, or transferring your API keys to third parties without explicit written consent from Convert File Fast.
• Using the Service to send spam, conduct phishing attacks, or distribute harmful or fraudulent content.
• Exceeding the conversion limits of your plan in an attempt to abuse the infrastructure or degrade service quality for other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use policies without prior notice.

4. Plan Limits

Usage of the Service is subject to the limits of your selected plan. Conversion credits are monthly and do not accumulate from one period to the next. The current plans and their limits are:

• Free — 10 conversions per month, maximum file size of 5 MB, 1 API key. No credit card required. Ideal for testing and evaluation.
• Pro — 5,000 conversions per month, maximum file size of 50 MB, up to 5 API keys. Includes priority support.
• Scale — 50,000 conversions per month, maximum file size of 200 MB, unlimited API keys. Includes contractual SLA and a dedicated account manager.

We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payments and Refunds

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment provider. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Convert File Fast to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on your billing cycle selection.

We offer a 7-day refund policy for new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment by contacting us through our contact page. Refund requests made after this 7-day window will not be honored, except where required by applicable law.

Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Convert File Fast and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Convert File Fast in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Service Interruption

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or unforeseen incidents may cause temporary unavailability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

Convert File Fast shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from service interruptions beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure events, third-party infrastructure failures, or network outages.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the documents and files you upload to the Service. By submitting files for conversion, you grant Convert File Fast a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your files solely for the purpose of delivering the conversion result to you. This license terminates immediately upon completion of the API request.

The Convert File Fast platform, including its codebase, design, branding, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Convert File Fast and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
